Today I said goodbye to an old friend. I bought this bike brand new and had ridden it for over 4 years but the time had come for it to go. A new chapter of my motorcycle life awaits but I still couldn’t help but be a little sad as I walked away from it for the last time. Goodbye old friend… you will be missed.

  2. Ya know, I feel that one too. I guess when we ride our bikes and we and the bike become “one”, it is like loosing something we will miss because the removal is painful… like tonsils?? LOL. The last bike I sold was to pay for legal fees associated with my then 13yr old grandson. I couldnt even watch it go..instead, I stood inside and heard it ride away. I cried. Today my grandson is 18,happy, and healthy and learning to weld at the local community college. He knows that he owes me a Harley!! Maybe he will build me a custom!! The circle of life…….but, it still makes me get all misty eyed. She was a great bike. What came next was even better!! Cant wait to hear whats next for you.

  3. It’s always a sad day when you say goodbye to a trusted ride. And while you’l never forget her, there’s always room in your heart for the next one.
