WHY I OWN MOTORCYCLES IN THE FIRST PLACE

R_053009a

Days like today are why I own motorcycles in the first place! It was perfect riding weather here in Middle Tennessee so 2 friends and I hopped on the cruisers and headed south about 80 miles out of Nashville to the small  town of Lynnville, Tennessee. Lynnville is known for it’s Rail Road Museum… and is quite popular with the local biker community because of the great roads that surround it. They also have a retro diner called the Soda Pop Junction that is a lot of fun to check out. Here are a few pictures from the ride and if you click the link at the bottom of this RANT you can check out a whole bunch more.

  1. Yes, this is why we own motorcycles! I’m green with envy for you on this ride! As you know, my day was spent on a photo shoot…with speedsters. I was glad when the day ended…175 miles later!

Your trip looked to be fantastic, with great riding buddies…now tell me, how in the world does life get much better….a man with his bike, two friends with bikes, a cool place like Linville to ride to…yeah…

  2. Sure do miss the riding in Tennessee.

Used to live in Chattanooga. TN has some of the best riding around. Enjoyed your pics – looks like you guys had a great day.

  5. Bikerswag,
Your ride looks like it had 3 of things I like the most. Motorcycles, trains and food. Any day is a good day to ride. The Soda Pop Junction looks just like the place I mentioned in my “YOU BE THE JUDGE” post last Friday, 5/29/09.
